Absolutely delicious!! Ordered the Pabellon, every bite was packed with flavor! Edit: went back the next morning before heading back home. Got the plantains, Llanera Arepa (steak) and Pabellon empanada (same filling as the arepa)

Awesome smelling food, just outside the EVEN hotel. The empanada was crunchy in the outside and soft on the inside. The rice bowl came with rice grilled chicken beans and cheese. The kids ‘ I don’t know’ was crunchy and delicious . Quick easy eatery

My new favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh, Its not fancy, its not pretentious, if you want home cooked Venezuelan food you need to give this place a try. I honestly want to move closer so I can eat here more often, I was so excited to go here I ended up ordering way too much food and eating it until I was uncomfortable. The empanadas were my favorite, but I dont want to discount how delicious the rest of the food was. There are still a number of things I haven't tried but we will be back soon to work my way through the rest of the menu, including the amazing looking desserts that I couldn't force down, I did have a coffee which I definitely recommend. I almost forgot to mention that most of their menu is gluten free.

A trendy, well-designed restaurant with an impressive menu, and number of choices. I went overboard picking so many different dishes: I had the tostones, the chachapa, and a vegetarian bowl with plaintains, rice, vegetables, beans, and an arepa. The portion sizes were generous, the food was fresh, and the service was fast and friendly. Now keep in mind this is a TON of food, so I definitely spent a lot of money, but you can have a super affordable meal here for $15-30 easy. This place was on my list of restaurants to visit in Pittsburgh and I am delighted to say that it was my FAVORITE spot out of every place there!

We went here based on a recommendation and proximity to our hotel. The prices are a bit of a shock at first, especially when you glance at the prepared masarepas at the counter, but they do not disappoint with the fillings. I thought two arepas + the fried yuca was a spot-on serving for me, but it was more than enough for leftovers later. The staff were super friendly and genuinely interested in what we thought of the food. This place is certainly worth a visit if you are a fan of arepas in a small location in downtown Pittsburgh.
